1. Who We Are
Lumina Trade Inc. ("Lumina Trade", "we", "us") is an independent U.S.-based online retailer based in Florida. We operate our own online store and also sell through select established ecommerce marketplaces. This policy covers our online store, and — as a separate, clearly marked section below — our use of the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) as part of our marketplace operations.
2. Information We Collect
Through checkout. When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, and shipping address to process and fulfill it. Payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store your card details on our servers.
Through the Brands & Suppliers form. If you contact us as a supplier or vendor, we collect the information you submit (company name, contact name, email, phone, website, product categories, message) to respond and manage the business relationship. We do not sell or rent this information to third-party marketing lists.
Automatically collected. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address) needed to serve the site. Your cart contents and language preference (English/Spanish) are stored locally in your own browser, not on our servers, and are not shared with us or any third party.
Cookies & analytics. We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.
3. Amazon Information (Selling Partner API)
Separate section, unchanged from luminatrade.org — kept because it remains required for our SP-API integration.
As an Amazon selling partner, we access product identifiers (ASIN, UPC, EAN, GTIN), catalog attributes (title, brand, category, sales rank), and listing eligibility results exclusively through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), solely to determine seller account eligibility before purchasing inventory.
We do not access personally identifiable information about Amazon buyers — no buyer names, addresses, contact details, payment information, or order contents. We do not share Amazon Information with any third party, except where legally required or for legal defense. Amazon Information is deleted within 90 days of collection.
4. How We Use Information
To process and fulfill orders, respond to supplier and customer inquiries, send order-status emails, and — only if you opt in — occasional marketing communications. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers — Stripe's hosted Checkout handles this directly, keeping us out of PCI scope for cardholder data.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
We share the minimum information necessary with: Stripe (payment processing), our shipping carriers (to deliver your order), and, for the SP-API scope only, Amazon as described in section 3. We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and credential hygiene to protect the data we hold. Any suspected incident affecting Amazon Information is reported to Amazon within 24 hours, consistent with our SP-API obligations.
8. Data Retention
Order and business correspondence is retained as needed for legal, tax, and operational purposes, then deleted. Amazon Information is deleted within 90 days, as described in section 3.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us using the details below.
10. Children
Our store is not directed toward children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our operations change. The effective date above reflects the current version.
